Dr. Samer Nagui Hanna is a highly accomplished dental professional specializing in endodontics, with extensive experience in clinical practice, education, and research across the UK, Spain, and Egypt. He holds dual bachelor’s degrees in dental sciences, as well as an MClinDent in Clinical Endodontology from UK , a PhD in Biomedicine from Spain, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education from the University of Edinburgh. A Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and member of the Academy of Medical Educators. He is a registered dentist with the GDC (UK) and COEM (Spain) and an active member of the European Society of Endodontology and the Spanish Endodontic Association. And a Senior lecturer at COMD Uk
My Story
Dr. Samer Nagui Hanna is a highly accomplished dental professional with a passion for education and research in the field of endodontics. He was born in Cairo, Egypt, in 1987, and obtained his bachelor’s degree in dental sciences from Misr International University (MIU) in Egypt in 2010. He went on to obtain a second bachelor’s degree in dental sciences from Universidad Europea (UE) in Spain in 2014.
Dr. Hanna's dedication to endodontics led him to pursue a master’s in clinical Endodontology (MClinDent) from BPP University in 2017, and he completed his PhD in Biomedicine and Health Sciences from Universidad Europea in Madrid, Spain in 2022. He also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education (PGClinEd) from the University of Edinburgh in 2023 and was awarded a Fellowship of Advance Higher Education Academy (FHEA) in the same year. Dr. Hanna is also a member of the Academy of Medical Educators (MAcdMEd).
Dr. Hanna has published numerous papers in peer-reviewed and internationally acknowledged journals, and he has supervised over 50 students in their research studies and dissertations, completing their master’s degrees. and has presented his research findings and clinical cases at various international conferences. He is a recognized specialist member of
the European Society of Endodontology (ESE) and an active member of the Spanish Endodontic Association (AEDE). He is also a registered dentist at the General Dental Council (GDC) – UK, Colegio Oficial de Odontólogos y Estomatólogos de la Iª Región (COEM) – Spain and the Egyptian Dental Syndicate (EDS) - Egypt
Since 2018, Dr. Hanna has been working as a Lecturer in Endodontics and Research at the College of Medicine & Dentistry, University of Ulster in Ireland, UK. He also runs his private practice, Alpha Dental Clinics, in Cairo, Egypt, where he applies his expertise in endodontics to provide high-quality care to his patients. Dr Hanna is also a Key Opinion leader for different European and international companies. Dr. Hanna's dedication to improving patient outcomes and advancing the field of endodontics has made him a respected and valued member of the dental community.
